Are you ready to drive data-driven innovation and lay the foundation for cutting-edge AI solutions? As an AI & Data Architect (f/m/x), you will design powerful systems and architectures that enable companies to achieve strategic goals with modern technology.

Location and Schedule

Full‑time (40/38.5 hours per week) at our locations in Berlin, Düsseldorf or Vienna. Your tasks

• You develop and own the end‑to‑end architecture for data and AI platforms, ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and performance.
• You are responsible for designing modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, DataVault 2.0) and best‑practice AI/ML pipelines.
• You will define standards for responsible AI, governance, and AI/ML security across the organization.
• You will collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Security teams, Sales, and Delivery to ensure consistent and secure solution delivery.
• You will help guide through the right tool and cloud service selection (AWS or Azure or GCP) and provide architectural leadership in internal and customer‑facing projects.
• You will design and architect AI solutions and tune models for performance and output quality by monitoring model performance, enabling automated model deployment and providing lifecycle management across environments.

Your skills

• You bring a strong expertise in data and AI architecture, including cloud‑native and distributed systems.
• You have a solid understanding of MLOps practices, AI/ML operationalization, lifecycle management, and responsible AI frameworks. Experience with data modeling approaches such as DataVault 2.0 or Data Mesh.
• You bring knowledge of AI security threats (e.g., adversarial attacks, data poisoning) and compliance requirements (GDPR, AI Act).
• You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to work in cross‑functional agile teams.
• You have proven experience implementing MLOps frameworks (e.g. MLFlow, Azure ML, SageMaker), including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, experiment tracking, and automated model monitoring.
• You speak German at C1 level and have at least B2 English.
