Senior AI Data Engineer

We're working with a YC-backed AI startup building a completely new category of enterprise software within the pharmaceutical domain. You'll be part of the founding team of a hugely excited business.

Their platform acts as an AI operating layer over massive, messy datasets, helping global organisations turn fragmented information into clear insights, automated analysis and production-ready outputs - supporting the pharmaceutical process from within.

The company only launched recently and has already:

• Raised a $3M Seed round
• Signed major enterprise customers
• Reached profitability at a very early stage
• A founding team of serial founders

The ambition is big. The founders are building a foundational AI data platform with the goal of becoming a category-defining company.

The role

This is a Senior AI & Data Engineer position working closely with the founding team and owning key parts of the data layer behind the product, working on agentic product development end to end.

It sits right at the intersection of data engineering, AI systems and agentic workflows.

You’ll work on things like:

• Designing data pipelines that ingest messy global datasets
• Building RAG pipelines powering the AI product
• Data modelling and structuring complex information sources
• Developing AI agents interacting with structured knowledge systems
• Improving retrieval, search and reasoning across large data environments

Technical Environment

• Agentic and LLM frameworks - LangGraph/Langchain etc
