What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to Asset & Wealth Management clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowhow (products, tools, data, frameworks, surveys, domain‑specific content and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals with relevant analysis and insights, serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues and create strong impact for the client. While contributing to client cases, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected.

You will support commercialization efforts for the Asset & Wealth Management sector, working in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing complex analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your industry expertise.

You're Good At

Solving client problems through formulating relevant research, analytical approaches and customized solutions in the Asset/Investment Management sector
Analysing and manipulating data sets in applications (e.g., Excel, Alteryx) to generate insights
Communicating with case teams, client team members and senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
Navigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment

What You'll Bring

2+ years of strategic consultant experience in the Asset/Investment Management sector required; candidates with strategic consultant experience strongly preferred
In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum Asset/Investment Management industry relevant experience required; 4‑6+ years of such industry experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Wealth Management/Private Banking sector beneficial
Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
Strong business acumen, superior analytical & problem‑solving skills, and conceptual capabilities
Effective written communications and excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills
Fluency in English and German
Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of seniority with internal and external stakeholders, while working in a global collaborative team environment
