What You'll DoAs a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to Asset & Wealth Management clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized knowhow (products, tools, data, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific content and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute on cases and proposals with relevant analysis and insights, serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues and create strong impact for the client. While contributing to client cases, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected. You will support commercialization efforts for the Asset & Wealth Management sector, working in conjunction with business leaders, through contributing complex analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops and marketing materials. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business and assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on your industry expertise.BCG’s Financial Institutions Practice Area helps clients navigate a rapidly evolving business landscape. We support clients in adapting to market evolutions, dynamic client expectations, digital disruption, and regulatory shifts. Within the Asset & Wealth Management sector specifically, we help firms develop differentiated value propositions, optimize cost structures, enhance client engagement, and future-proof operating models—building lasting competitive advantage in an increasingly complex market. You're Good AtSolving client problems through formulating relevant research, analytical approaches and customized solutions in the Asset/Investment Management sectorAnalysing and manipulating data sets in applications (e.g., Excel, Alteryx) to generate insightsCommunicating with case teams, client team members and senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident wayWorking collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of workingBeing flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideasNavigating complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment What You'll Bring2+ years of strategic consultant experience in the Asset/Investment Management sector required; candidates with strategic consultant experience strongly preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum Asset/Investment Management industry relevant experience required; 4-6+ years of such industry experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with Wealth Management/Private Banking sector beneficialBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Strong business acumen, superior analytical & problem-solving skills, and conceptual capabilitiesEffective written communications and excellent PowerPoint & Excel skillsFluency in English and GermanExcellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of seniority with internal and external stakeholders, while working in a global collaborative team environment Who You'll Work WithAs a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
