Senior Analytics Engineer / BI Developer (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop andmaintaindata pipelines:Leverage Y42 withdbtCore on GCP (BigQuery) to build,optimize, andmaintainrobust and scalable data pipelines.
• CreatePower BI/MS Fabric solutions:Develop Power BI semantic models using DAX, design interactive dashboards, and build reports in Power BI Desktop to deliver actionable insights.
• Support ad-hoc analyses:Utilize Python for one-off analyses and to support the development and maintenance of custom components in the data stack and pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders:Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on expectations, and implement data solutions that meet business needs.
• Drive data quality and governance:Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all solutions and contribute to the evolution of data governance practices.
• Stay current:Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in analytics, data engineering, and BI technologies, proactively sharing knowledge and ideas for continuous improvement

YOUR TOOLKIT

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, business, or a comparable
• SQL Expertise : Proven proficiency in writing efficient and scalable SQL for BigQuery or similar platforms.
• Power BI : Hands-on experience developing Power BI semantic models using DAX, creating dashboards, and building reports.
• Y42 anddbtCore : Familiarity with these tools or similar experience with data pipeline platforms and transformation frameworks.
• Experience in a Fast-PacedEnvironment : Background in startups, scaleups, or other dynamic work environments.
• StakeholderCollaboration: Strong communication skills to gather requirements, align on deliverables, and present findings effectively.
• Problem-SolvingSkills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Python Proficiency : Experience using Python for data wrangling, analysis, or developing custom data stack components.
• Visualization Expertise : Strong portfolio showcasing BI and analytics projects.
• Cloud Platforms : Experience with GCP (BigQuery and beyond) or similar cloud environments.
• Data Governance : Familiarity with best practices in data security, quality, and governance.
