Senior API Specialist - Java

Responsibilities:

• Developing APIs for a SaaS backend with non-trivial business logic.
• Being responsible for the correctness of your code.
• Working together with our backend engineers on designing and implementing API features.
• Fighting emerging code complexity by questioning and improving architecture and concepts.

Requirements:

• You are proficient in Java and have kept track of its development to Java 21
• You are familiar with some of the following technologies: Gradle, Spring, JPA, Scripting (Shell, Python), and PostgreSQL.
• You know the fundamentals of networking, operating systems, and distributed computing.
• You care about code quality and refactor code where it is required.
• You dig deep to find the root cause of any problem before escalating responsibility.
• You constantly extend and share your professional knowledge.
