ServiceNow Solution Architect / Business Analyst

Purpose of the Role

As a ServiceNow Solution Architect / Business Analyst, you are responsible for enabling ZEISS business units to leverage the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform within the Corporate IT environment.

You act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders by supporting application projects from process analysis and modelling through to solution implementation, while working in a dynamic international environment and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

The Key Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with the ServiceNow platform standard and minimize dependencies on technical departments while leveraging platform capabilities and future developments.
• Advise and support ZEISS internal business units based on strong functional and technical expertise.
• Support the collection and analysis of business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements within the solution design.
• Ensure the security and reliability of the responsible products and solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other ServiceNow product teams on cross‑functional topics.
• Act as a key contributor within the DevOps product team.

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven professional experience and demonstrated success as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or Business Analyst across relevant ServiceNow products.
• Demonstrated experience managing ServiceNow implementation projects.
• Extensive experience integrating third‑party systems using various integration technologies.
• Strong background as a ServiceNow Developer or Full Stack Developer is an advantage.
• ITIL Foundation certification and project management certification are preferred.
• Familiarity with agile working environments and agile or hybrid project structures combined with a strong team‑oriented mindset.
