The Role

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to strengthen its M&A and Corporate Finance Advisory team in its Frankfurt office . This is a core execution role with responsibility across the full transaction lifecycle and close collaboration with senior leadership across offices.

The successful candidate will act as a key execution partner on live mandates, managing analyses, coordinating workstreams, and contributing to strategic positioning across multiple transactions in parallel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial, strategic, and valuation analyses across sell‑side and buy‑side M&A processes
• Prepare and review transaction materials , including teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
• Build and own financial models and valuation work (DCF, trading and transaction comparables, scenario analyses)
• Coordinate due diligence processes , including data room management and interaction with external advisors
• Engage in direct client interaction , management meetings, and investor discussions
• Support origination efforts through sector research, target screening, and strategic input
• Contribute to execution standards and support junior team members

Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance advisory, investment banking, transaction services, or private equity
• Solid execution track record in mid‑market transactions
• Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise
• Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high responsibility
• Strong commercial judgement and structured thinking
• Fluent in German and English
• Motivated by exposure to senior leadership and cross‑office collaboration
