Job Overview

Are you in your element when we talk about stocks, indices, and the structuring of new equity investment strategies? Do you follow the latest trends in the ETF and stock markets? Are you highly motivated to take on responsibility for projects, combining financial knowledge and technical skills, while working independently as well as in a team? A high customer orientation is essential. You are ambitious to push things forward and help shape the further path of our thematic equity indexing business.

Your Tasks

• Develop and implement innovative equity index methodologies together with our global client base.
• Design equity index strategies across various focus areas, including quantitative, thematic, and ESG‑driven strategies.
• Develop historical performance simulations (back‑testing) for defined investment strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities to complement and enhance our index offering.
• Act as a subject matter expert in client meetings, roadshows, and sales campaigns.
• Support clients and internal stakeholders with technical and professional expertise in equity strategies.
• Draft index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in index development.
• Coordinate internal processes with operations, sales, and marketing teams for successful index launch.

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable programs.
• 4-8 years of experience in the indexing business or other relevant fields (e.g., Portfolio Management or Structuring).
• Strong expertise in equity investment products.
• Proficient programming skills in Python.
• Experience with data vendor terminals such as FactSet (plus).
• Delivery of timely results with a focus on high quality even under tight deadlines.
• Strong self‑confidence and team‑spirit.
• Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills in English.
