Senior Automotive Technical Content Manager (m/f/d)

As our Senior Automotive Technical Content Manager, you’ll step into a role with purpose, growth, and real impact. You’ll join our Web Products team, where your work will shape the way we deliver high-quality, deeply technical, user-problem–driven, and SEO-optimized automotive content across all Repair & Maintenance categories, from Smart Mechanic to Community. Your mission

As our Senior Automotive Technical Content Manager, you’ll step into a role with purpose, growth, and real impact. You’ll join our Web Products team, where your work will shape the way we deliver high-quality, deeply technical, user-problem–driven, and SEO-optimized automotive content across all Repair & Maintenance categories, from Smart Mechanic to Community. Your contributions in automotive content strategy and execution will be highly trusted and celebrated, all in an environment that values authenticity, inclusion, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Your responsibilities

• Own the production, management, and planning of all R&M content across key categories on our website like Smart Mechanic, RMH, Virtual Mechanic, and Community
• Define clear automotive content requirements and ensure all deliverables are on time, SEO-optimized, and meet high quality standards
• Build efficient, scalable workflows and develop cross-quarter, data-driven automotive content roadmaps to support content depth, coverage, and long-term maintainability
• Monitor KPIs using dashboards and continuously improve performance across coverage, quality, and SEO traffic growth of our Web Products

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience owning and driving automotive technical content initiatives end to end, leveraging deep automotive engineering or mechanical expertise to ensure accuracy and credibility
• Experience with automotive technical content is a must; automotive engineering/mechanic, journalist or project management experience is nice to have
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them for traffic growth and ability to define, plan, and manage large-scale content programs across multiple categories
• Detail-oriented with a high bar for automotive content quality and technical accuracy with excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Comfortable using AI tools and innovation to optimize workflows and content qualityFluency in English (C1), German is a plus
