Senior Backend Developer - Java (m/f/x)

This role is based in Mannheim, a vibrant tech hub at the heart of Germany, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office, ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems that power the osapiens HUB, using Java and modern technologies
• Develop core business logic to support enterprise-grade software solutions and solve complex real-world challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, designers) to create seamless, integrated end-to-end solutions
• Develop and maintain web services (RESTful, GraphQL) to integrate with various platforms and support clients' needs
• Ensure high-performance, scalable solutions that meet the growing demands of global enterprises
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and development processes

• Expertise in Java/JavaEE and Spring Framework, with a deep understanding of building high-performance, scalable backend systems
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, ScyllaDB, or similar
• Strong web services expertise in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Proficient in automated testing and CI/CD practices to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code.
• Experience with distributed systems, focusing on scalability and fault tolerance
• Hands-on experience with search technologies like OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or similar
• Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative development
• Agile mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams and sprints
