In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate closely with your Tech Lead on architecting new features and seeing them through to completion.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Work across multiple team boundaries, regularly reviewing and contributing to codebases owned by peer engineering teams.
• Engage with technical stakeholders across the organisation, influencing priorities and driving alignment.
• Operate on a pragmatic, two‑week iteration cycle, maintaining a reliable rhythm for steady releases.
• Mentor junior members, guarding code quality through pull requests and offering support.
• Stay up to date with technology trends and propose findings during Get Stuff Done Days.
• Uphold the highest technical standards across the product.

Qualifications

• Experience building JVM‑based services with Spring Boot; Kotlin is a plus.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern cloud architectures, ideally AWS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in managing cross‑team dependencies.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and modify codebases from other teams.
