YOUR IMPACT AT CIRCULA Join Circula and help build the backend of our finance automation platform. You will design and develop scalable, high-performance systems while working with a great and experienced team, enjoying a minimal amount of meetings and having the opportunity to use the product you build. This is a full-time position that can be done completely remote within Germany or from our office in Berlin. Your Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirementsWrite clean, testable and maintainable codeCreate and manage documentation for system design, code and testingParticipate in code reviews and ensure quality standards are metTroubleshoot and debug production issuesDevelop and maintain API integrations with third-party systems Our Tech Stack: Spring Boot, Kotlin, Java, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, GitHub, CircleCI, AWS YOUR TALENTS FOR CIRCULA Qualifications: You have 5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex software systems. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.Tech Stack: You have strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Kotlin, Java, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, GitHub, CircleCI, and AWS. Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus.Ownership: You lead your own projects from inception to deployment.Drive: You are determined to build quality features, free from bugs, always following clean code principles.Collaboration: You successfully cooperate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, CSM, and Integrations, to prioritize product requirements.Growth Mindset: You constantly seek opportunities to learn and take on new challenges, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Transparency: You keep up to date on all activities and developments within the engineering team.Language: Fluent in English.
