We invite you to shape the future of mobility with us. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Senior Backend Software Developer (d/f/m) for our development team.

Responsibilities

• Further develop and optimize the backend for new and existing routing stacks.
• Work on all aspects of the routing stacks—from data management and business logic to configurability and integration of service providers—for a seamless user experience.
• Provide clear and reliable solutions that handle the complexity of both public and individual transport data.
• Ensure high quality and careful implementation of changes.
• Optimize overall performance with a focus on scalability and cloud-readiness.
• Understand use cases and advise product management in defining product standards and configuring solutions.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science or a related field, or relevant professional experience in software development.
• Solid knowledge and several years of experience in C, modern C++, and/or Java.
• Familiar with current software development methods, proficient in agile workflows, and experienced with tools such as Git.
• Ability to understand complex problems and translate requirements into efficient, modular features of a standard product.
• Excellent English; German language skills are a plus.
