The Opportunity

At Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN), our mission is to inspire people everywhere to achieve their performance and healthy lifestyle goals! We are a global leader in the performance nutrition industry and have a portfolio of ten brands, including Optimum Nutrition (ON), BSN, Isopure, SlimFast, Body&Fit, Nutramino, Think! and Amazing Grass.

We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to continue to build the Optimum Nutrition brand in Germany, who can effectively translate consumer insight & brand strategy into strategy & execution, with strong analytical capability to continually optimise for impact. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting into the Marketing & Commercial Director.

Responsibilities

  • You will work collaboratively with the Marketing & Commercial Director Germany to support in defining the 3-year plan for the German & Austrian market.
  • You will continue to evolve the local marketing strategy, bringing to life the Global Optimum Nutrition brand positioning to engage consumers, shoppers and drive commercial demand.
  • You will own the execution of the marketing mix, partnering with the International region to ensure local delivery of key strategic initiatives & drive local top spins.
  • You will be responsible for activation & partnerships across paid, owned & earned channels, ensuring best-in-class execution to drive full marketing funnel KPIs.
  • You will partner with insights to continually monitor brand health & marketing effectiveness KPIs
  • You will identify the key innovation platform for the market & execute go-to-market plans for the 2026 to bring on-trend innovation into the DEAT region.
  • You will be responsible for overall marketing budget, monthly phasing and annual budget delivery.

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Experience in developing & executing through the line campaigns across paid, owned & earned channels.
  • Media planning and agency management experience.
  • A commercial business mind-set, experience P&L ownership, marketing metrics.
  • Ability to engage effectively and with influence across all functions and operations.
  • Ability to innovate, be proactive and act as a highly motivated self-starter in a rapid result driven environment.
  • Passion for the brand and able to manage multiple projects and work strands effortlessly.
  • 7+ years FMCG brand management experience
  • Ideal would be blend of strong blue-chip foundation and experience of entrepreneurial environments as well.
  • Local & regional experience preferred.
  • Desirable: Wellbeing, Nutrition or Health & Beauty Experience and CIM professional
