Responsibilities

• Acting as an analyst in the bank's Treasury and Investment products application development unit.
• Collaborating with relevant business lines in ongoing projects.
• Creating analysis documents for identified requirements.
• Conducting functional tests to ensure alignment with requirements
• Providing support for user tests.
• Investigating and resolving issues in deployed applications.
• Participating in requirement determination for software projects.
• Assisting in project planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or Engineering.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in banking, Wealth Management, Trade Finance, Portfolio Management, or Investment Operations.
• Expertise in Banking Treasury and Investment products and workflows
• Experience in the analysis and testing phases of Treasury modules
• Strong knowledge of investment products (equities, bonds, funds/ETFs, structured products, FX) and portfolio lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of Trade Finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Discounting).
• Experience with Trade Finance systems (e.g. Surecomp, Finastra, Eximbills).
• Trade Finance certifications (CDCS/CSDG) are a plus.
• Experience with wealth management platforms (Avaloq, Temenos, FIS, SimCorp, Advent/Black Diamond, Upvest, Trade Republic APIs, or similar).
• Skills in SQL, data analysis (Excel/Power BI), API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI), and understanding of microservices/API gateways
• Lead or support system configuration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and post-implementation reviews for wealth management platforms.
• Provide second-line production support and troubleshooting issues across order routing, portfolio valuation, pricing, and position-keeping workflows.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new working methods
• Capability to align with fast-changing priorities
• Regular reporting habits and a focus on documentation
• Experienced in Agile Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and vendor-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English; German knowledge is a strong advantage.
