Mission

You are responsible for turning gowth opportunities into scalable industrial businesses. You will lead cross‑functional teams, validate market potential and drive initiatives from pilot projects to industrial scale, making decisive choices to scale, pivot or redirect opportunities. Your work will directly advance Voith’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new industrial business opportunities aligned with Voith’s growth strategy.
• Drive the scale‑up of validated opportunities from pilots to full industrial rollout.
• Lead end‑to‑end cross‑functional teams, inspiring and mobilizing colleagues across engineering, operations, sales and finance to deliver scalable business outcomes.
• Make evidence‑based decisions to scale, pivot or redirect initiatives based on market feedback and commercial potential.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with customers, technology partners and ecosystem players.
• Engage with senior management providing strategic recommendations and insights to shape business direction.

Your Profile

• Extensive experience in industrial business development, venture creation or strategy, ideally in capital goods, energy or process industries.
• Proven track record of scaling businesses or major industrial projects successfully.
• Strong commercial and technical judgment, financial literacy, and P&L awareness.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic and decisive under uncertainty.
• Excellent communication skills with senior executives; fluent in English (German is a plus).
