As a Senior Agriculture Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening relationships within the agricultural industry across the North region, covering the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.**About the Role**You will be part of our EMEA Agriculture Industry team, responsible for developing business opportunities and delivering exceptional value to customers. This is a strategic role focused on business development, sales growth, and fostering collaboration across a diverse and international environment.This role can be based anywhere in the north of Europe.**Key Responsibilities****Drive Business Results:*** Develop and execute a regional business development plan.* Manage and optimise sales efforts to maximise profitability and achieve key KPIs.* Build and maintain a dynamic sales pipeline, including Business Development Plans (BDPs).**Sales and Business Development:*** Identify and create new sales and value-added service opportunities with existing and potential customers.* Grow sales across all product categories (specialties and commodities) and services (including blends).* Collaborate effectively within Brenntag’s matrix structure, influencing without direct authority.* Recommend new products for Brenntag’s Agro portfolio.**What We’re Looking For****Education:** Degree in Agronomy or equivalent.**Experience:*** Multiple years of sales experience in the agricultural industry.* Proven success in an international work environment.**Skills & Attributes:*** Strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.* Analytical and conceptual thinker with cultural sensitivity.* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.* Ability to collaborate and influence in a matrix organisation.* **Languages:** Excellent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.We believe in creating an environment where people thrive.
