Senior Business Development Manager BeLux – TieTalent, Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing and develop new client relationships
• Monitor market developments to identify opportunities for traditional reinsurance as well as financial or longevity solutions
• Conduct complex market/product analysis and develop new insurance and/or reinsurance solutions
• Lead conversations with clients to maintain existing business and acquire new business opportunities
• Draw offers and treaties and negotiate contract terms and conditions
• Apply actuarial models for evaluation of reinsurance offers in cooperation with pricing team
• Define, execute and follow up on client action plans
• Support Head of the ID in developing market strategy and business plan
• Give presentations to clients and actively participate in external market events

Portfolio Management

• Responsible for client offer and contract database
• Manage and control existing contracts with ID’s clients
• Actively pursue in-force management actions
• Ensure delivery of planned results for own area of responsibility within portfolio management
• Cooperate closely with all relevant stakeholders, in particular medical underwriting & claims team, technical accounting, reserving & finance

Experience

• Broad and sound work experience in (re)insurance with international alignment
• Experience in the Belgium/Luxembourg (re-)insurance markets is beneficial
• Excellent knowledge of analytical and/or mathematical issues
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office); knowledge of SCOR IT infrastructure is a plus
