Senior Business Development Manager Europe

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the origination, structuring, and execution of renewable energy project acquisitions across Europe.

This role offers full responsibility for opportunities from initial market scouting to final deal execution, including partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic project development. The focus will be on solar, wind, and battery storage, with opportunities to explore emerging technologies in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Scout and develop new renewable energy projects in multiple European regions
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including developers, landowners, utilities, and brokers
• Drive market entry strategies and establish long‑term pipelines in new locations
• Oversee the full commercial and technical evaluation of opportunities
• Manage the transaction process from initial offers to due diligence and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure projects move smoothly to closing
• Take ownership of deal terms and ensure effective handover to operational teams

Requirements

• Extensive experience in renewable energy project development, origination, or acquisitions
• Proven success in closing utility‑scale projects in solar, wind, or battery storage
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
