(Senior) Business Development Manager People (mfd)

As Business Development Manager People you will play a key role in shaping the growth and evolution of our People & Culture function. You will lead strategic projects and initiatives that strengthen our impact across Westwing - with a particular focus on AI-driven implementations that empower teams to work smarter, learn faster and make better decisions.

This is a high-impact role offering a steep learning curve and responsibility from day one. You will collaborate closely with Executives, Senior Management and a highly talented diverse team at the intersection of Business Development, People, Learning & Development and People Analytics. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive strategic cross‑functional projects within the People & Culture team with a focus on AI‑driven initiatives that enhance efficiency, learning and decision‑making.
• Design and implement learning strategies aligned with organisational goals and future capabilities.
• Create and manage detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across departments, seniority levels and countries.
• Partner closely with the (People) Leadership Team and the Chief People Officer on strategic priorities and initiatives.

YOU COME WITH

• 2 years of experience in consulting or strategy / business development with a strong record of impact.
• Hands‑on experience with AI projects or tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritise effectively and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for People / HR with a drive to innovate and challenge the status quo.
• A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with a strong desire to make a difference.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages and build trustful relationships.
• Fluency in English and German.
