Senior Business Development Manager – Supply (m/f/d)

Our Business Development Supply Team drives impact across ABOUT YOU by leading strategic and operational initiatives to become the #1 fashion platform, and enabling other business functions along this journey. We work in cross‑functional settings and in close collaboration with our Directors, VP, and the Management Board.

As Senior Business Development Manager – Supply (m/f/d) , you will coordinate and manage strategic as well as operational projects with end‑to‑end responsibility. You will play a key role in answering core business questions in a fast‑paced tech and fashion environment and gain deep insights into Buying, Partner Management, Steering, and Procurement. You will play a key role in shaping the future of ABOUT YOU by addressing core business issues in the fast‑paced tech and e‑commerce environment. In doing so, you will develop a deep understanding of ABOUT YOU’s Supply area and quickly build a comprehensive strategic and operational skill set. Your work will span both strategic growth initiatives – such as assortment expansion, loyalty program development and digital integration projects – as well as optimisation efforts aimed at boosting profitability through process improvements and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Understand the roles and Grote y me into different teams to coordinate projects effectively
• Lead strategic and operational projects across teams, ensuring they are completed on time and meet goals
• Act as a sparring partner for strategic initiatives driven by the VP or Directors
• Conduct complex analyses and independent research to support project decisions and planning
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas to improve business growth and profitability
• Communicate clearly and work well with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and steer projects effectively

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• 5+ years of practical experience in strategy and business development, or project management, ideally in a leading management consultancy, optionally also in a start‑up environment
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good analytical skills and strong numerical understanding
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment with a strong, hands‑on mindset
• Quick comprehension and structured way of working
