Senior Business Development Representative

My client is looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to join their dynamic team driving growth across the EMEA region. This remote role is perfect for a sales professional with a strong technical background who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and influencing customer decisions in the industrial automation and manufacturing space.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Identify and engage new business opportunities across EMEA through calls, emails, and in-person visits.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal and handover to project teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth progression of leads and opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in CRM systems.
• Support customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (technical background preferred).
• 10+ years’ experience in technical sales, ideally in manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to manage and close complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable traveling within EMEA (20–40%) and occasionally internationally.
