Client Background

Our client is a well‑established global consulting organization specializing in product safety, regulatory compliance, and market access support. They work with companies across multiple regions to navigate complex food regulations, expand into new markets, and ensure products meet international compliance standards. The Food Division is rapidly growing and serves as a key operational pillar in its global business.

Job Responsibilities

• Possess original insights in the global food compliance field, especially in businesses related to Global New Food Ingredients Application. With the support of the CIRS team, be able to formulate and implement clear plans for exploring the European market and ensure the achievement of relevant sales targets set by the company.
• Obtain target customer leads through targeted promotion or relevant marketing activities, secure opportunities to dialogue with key decision‑makers of customers to identify their relevant needs, and ultimately obtain cooperation opportunities. Work with the team to provide expert consultancy on food compliance, regulatory, and testing requirements, collaborating closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
• Enhance the company's presence in the EU market by participating in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• A BSc. or MSc degree in food, biology, microorganisms, or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of marketing development experience in the novel food ingredient industry or food regulatory compliance; global food or novel food regulations experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. An additional European language would be beneficial.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop new strategies to improve marketing performance; quick learner, careful, reliable, and solution‑driven working style.
