Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Your mission

The BI Analyst understands and prioritizes organization's needs, improves the quality of krisenchat's data infrastructure, and develops metrics and reports that enable data-driven decisions.

Language : English and German

• You are in close dialogue with krisenchat's CXO, Product Owner and internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize our needs.
• You’ll plan the medium-term roadmap and detailed backlog for the BI team.
• You will build dashboards, write queries, and calculate key figures to fulfill the specific requests of stakeholders.
• You’ll collaborate with DevSecOps for the rollout of Dataform as a new tool.
• Together with our Data Engineer, you will support the improvement of our data warehousing, for example by opening up new data sources or improving data quality assurance.
• Together with our Compliance Manager and DevSecOps, you will ensure our data processing meets our privacy and security standards that exceed GDPR requirements.
• You review the work of your colleagues to ensure the quality of our key figures and data. Comprehensive documentation plays a major role for you.
• You’ll work with the existing BI team members and support their skill development.

Your profile

Hard skills

• More than five years of professional experience in data analytics, business analytics or business intelligence
• Experience in the use of Dataform or dbt
• Excellent SQL skills
• Experience with cloud-based data management (e.g. BigQuery)
• Experience in the use of BI tools (e.g. Metabase)
• Experience in the use of project management tools (e.g. Linear)
• English and German spoken and written proficiency
• Experience with generative AI tools for coding and documentation

Soft skills

• Fast, structured and self-organized way of working
• Appreciative communication at all levels
• High willingness to learn and teach

Nice to have

• Experience in the NGO and/or psychosocial work environment
• Experience in the rollout of Dataform
• Ukrainian language skills
• Residence in Berlin
