Senior Software Developer (C# / .NET) – Full Time (m/f/d)

Role Overview

An established technology-driven organization is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to help design, build, and maintain core backend systems. In this role, you will contribute to the development of scalable .NET applications and play a key role in shaping architecture, performance, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust plugin framework that allows third-party systems to integrate with an internally developed web platform.

• Take ownership of the development lifecycle and long-term maintenance of applications built with C# and .NET .

• Contribute to architectural planning and technical decision-making within the engineering team.

• Work closely within an agile environment , participating in backlog refinement, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

• Support deployment, monitoring, and operations in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.

• Improve system performance , resolve technical issues, and help drive continuous improvements in software quality.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX/UI, DevOps, Frontend, QA, and Support teams to deliver high-quality features.

Candidate Profile

• Strong professional experience with .NET and C# , including the development of microservices architectures .

• Comfortable working in agile teams , with a proactive and accountable mindset.

• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases , such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or ArangoDB .

• Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure cloud services .

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Understanding of software architecture principles such as Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) or Clean Architecture .

• Ideally, experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, or event‑driven systems using frameworks like MassTransit or similar technologies.

• Fluent German and English , both written and spoken.
