Senior Category Manager API

We have a fantastic opportunity with a rapidly growing Pharma player in Hamburg, Germany. Currently transforming to a centralised Procurement organisation, it is a very exciting time to join! We are looking forward to receiving your application!

Responsibilities :

• Strategic sourcing of APIs
• Defining and developing global procurement strategies
• Managing supplier relationships throughout their lifecycle
• Conducting market analysis, supplier selection, and risk management
• Negotiating contracts and managing costs
• Supporting the development of a centralized purchasing organization

Qualifications:

• Business or engineering degree
• Several years of experience in international strategic procurement, ideally in pharmaceuticals
• Experience in API is preferred
• Experience in both operational and strategic purchasing
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluency in German and English
