Senior Cloud-Based IoT Solutions Engineer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge IoT solutions. As a Backend Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services for our cloud-native platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing backend applications using C# and ASP.NET Core. You should be passionate about implementing and optimizing complex algorithms and have hands-on experience with databases. Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures are also highly desirable.

In this role, you will work closely with data scientists to optimize and implement algorithms that directly impact the user experience. You will also collaborate with frontend developers to create customer-focused applications for multiple platforms. Our technology environment is state-of-the-art, with ASP.NET Core and IoT infrastructure at its core.

• Develop scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services for our cloud-native platform.

• Take ownership of entire functional areas or services and guide them through the full development lifecycle.

• Actively shape system architecture and select the most suitable frameworks and technologies.

• Work closely with data scientists to optimize and implement algorithms that directly impact the user experience.

• Operate in a state-of-the-art technology environment with ASP.NET Core and IoT infrastructure.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to create customer-focused applications for multiple platforms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in developing backend applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.

• Strong proficiency with databases.

• Possession of advanced German language skills (B2 level or higher).

• Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures.

• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and MQTT in production environments is an advantage.
