Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) in Scale-up within MedTech

As a Senior Cloud Engineer(m/f/d) you are the driving force behind our cloud infrastructure and ensure that our teams can build, while the platform stays reliable, and performant. You take ownership of our AWS infrastructure, monitoring and alerting, and make our platform the resilient and secure foundation for Ocumeda’s growth.

• You own our AWS cloud platform and work hand in hand with developers and product to shape it into a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient foundation for Ocumeda’s growth
• You keep our TypeScript CDK Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) up to date to automate provisioning and deployments, ensuring reproducibility and speed
• You design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes and tests that guarantee high availability and reliability of our services
• You monitor platform performance, availability, and costs, making data-driven improvements for stability and efficiency
• You combine technical security ownership (IAM, networking, data protection) with strategic responsibility for making infrastructure decisions

Your profile

• You enjoy building and improving cloud infrastructure
• You have hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (ideally TypeScript CDK)
• You’ve worked with monitoring, alerting, and incident response tools — and care about reliability as much as scalability
• You care about security, compliance, and cost efficiency, and you want to make infrastructure a trusted foundation for product development
• You’re excited to take ownership in a startup environment, shape processes, and build sustainable structures that scale with the company
