Senior Coffee Trader – German Speaking

Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international agribusiness group looking to hire a Senior Green Coffee Trader for their office in Zug.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase green coffee from global producers, cooperatives, and exporters.
• Manage and optimise the P&L of an independent trading book, including pricing and hedging strategies.
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthen the company’s footprint in the European / German coffee market.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with roasters, importers, and institutional clients.
• Collaborate with origin and quality teams to deliver innovative, high-quality coffee products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in coffee trading or other agricultural soft commodities.
• Strong knowledge of global coffee markets, pricing mechanisms, and trading platforms.
• Proven skills in risk management, hedging, and use of futures/options.
• Fluency in English and German, with willingness to travel internationally.
