Senior Construction Project Manager

About the Role

A rapidly growing European energy storage developer is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Germany. Initially a project lead role, with strong potential to grow into a team lead position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction and execution of BESS projects, managing EPC contractors and multi-disciplinary teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to high technical standards
• Oversee planning, risk, HSE, contract management, QA/QC, and stakeholder engagement
• Represent the company with contractors, grid operators, authorities, and local stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years in infrastructure or energy construction, 7+ years as Project Manager
• BSc/MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related)
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Fluent German speaking
• Willingness to travel across Germany

• €100–120k base (DOE) + company car + flexible benefits
