Senior Consultant - Business Analyst Financial Crime Compliance (Financial Services) (w/m/d)

Join EY as a senior consultant in our Financial Services practice. You will help banks, insurers and asset managers develop risk strategies, control systems, and implement regulatory requirements using innovative technology.

Responsibilities

Consult national and global financial institutions on digitizing their compliance function; evaluate automation and AI use cases in money‑laundering prevention, market abuse, regulatory compliance, and crypto‑asset compliance.
Optimize existing and develop new compliance processes and IT applications, support implementation or upgrades of transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, adverse media, and sanctions‑screening systems.
Prepare and descriptive analyze structured and unstructured data for use in machine‑learning models and other algorithms that support compliance.
Develop prototypes in machine‑learning, data science, and AI, including appropriate software with the goal of handing over to client IT.
Take ownership of sub‑tasks in the further development of our service portfolio as part of the EY Financial Services network and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Successful degree in computer science, business informatics, law, economics or a comparable field.
Professional experience in analyzing and designing compliance‑IT requirements, data and process modeling, and experience with languages such as VBA, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, AWS.
Excellent communication in German (C1+) and English.
