The Energy Markets division is a rapidly growing area of our company that deals with software-based analytics and system optimization for the use of innovative low‑carbon technologies and the integration of renewable energies for industrial and commercial customers. We evaluate and optimize generation plants, storage facilities, and flexible consumption facilities, and map the relevant marketing and control processes.

What the role entails

• Working on application-oriented projects with a focus on operational and deployment optimization in a national and international context
• Projects for the strategic alignment of companies on the path to decarbonization
• Projects for the implementation of flexible operating strategies for industrial and commercial facilities
• Support for projects related to software-based energy controlling
• Further development of methods, solutions, and products

What we are looking for

• In-depth specialist knowledge and several years of professional experience in the specified field
• Expertise in areas such as energy industry framework conditions and energy procurement processes
• Good knowledge of statistics and optimization environmentsTargeted approach to work, economic thinking, and customer focus
• Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills
• Programming skills (e.g., C#, Python) are desirable, but IT affinity is essential
• Very good German and English skills
