Cost Controller role for a prestigious large-scale infrastructure project in Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Northern Bavaria . This €200M+ project involves the construction of a major electrical network through 90 km of trenching, complex pipe installation, and advanced horizontal drilling techniques .

Role & Responsibilities

As the Cost Controller , you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the project. Your main responsibilities will include:

Monitoring project costs and ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
Preparing and analyzing cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and claims evaluation.
Providing accurate cost data and recommendations to senior management.
Ensuring compliance with financial standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Collaborating closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams.

Candidate Profile

Proven expertise in cost control within the construction industry .
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international project environment.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Cost Controller on large-scale construction projects.
Fluent in German and English (mandatory requirement).
Solid understanding of cost management systems, reporting tools, and financial processes.
Fluent in English (German would be an advantage).
Availability to work full-time, on-site (no remote work possible).
