Senior Cost Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Controls Engineer with extensive experience supporting both clients and contractors in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. Required expertise covers the full range of cost engineering, including but not limited to:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
• Work, cost, and schedule breakdown structures
• Value of Work Done (VoWD), accruals, and EVM
• Change and risk management
• Monthly reporting and cost systems

Strong track record in managing large-scale projects ($50m+), implementing best practices, and improving cost efficiency, reporting standards, and stakeholder collaboration. Flexible and effective across all project phases, with experience in both site-based and office environments.

Profile

• 10+ years in project cost engineering
• 3+ years in pharmaceuticals (preferred)
• Fluent in German & English (C1 level or above mandatory)
• Full-time role, min. 60% on-site (Marburg)
• 12-month rolling contract, potential 4–5 years
