At Octopus Electric Vehicles (OEV) Germany, we are here to revolutionise the sustainable mobility market. To build our German team, we are looking for a self-driven customer operations specialist, who is striving to deliver the best customer service to our customers.
In this founding phase, you will be among the first team members to actively engage with our customers in all matters related to customer operations. This customer-facing role will focus on ensuring that our customers have delightful, memorable experiences. As we are starting from scratch, there is lots to do but also a chance to influence how we provide our service and plenty of development opportunities, such as moving into a team leader role.

In the first few months, you will be the face and voice of OEV in Germany, covering the entire customer operations support process:
Be the main face to our customers once they have ordered their car. You engage with colleagues across other parts of the business to ensure that our customers receive the best experience during every interaction.
Specifically, manage customer journeys from contracting right through to car delivery and during the whole vehicle usage lifecycle. You ensure that our customers are happy.
Problem solve! Ensuring everything is ready for the customer to enjoy a smooth transition and removing any blockers if they arise.
Ownership : Manage your customers along the whole customer journey and ensure they stay excited by our outstanding customer service.
Process definition : Convert your experience with our customers into ongoing process definition and adaptations to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Customer Service DNA : Experience in customer service (ideally in leasing or mobility products) combined with a passion to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
A passion for problem solving and going above and beyond to ensure you deliver a great customer experience.
Startup Mindset: You love a fast-paced environment, you are adaptable, and you embrace change. "Hands-on" is a way of life for you, not just a buzzword.
Passion & Skills: A genuine passion for sustainability and e-mobility. You are a strong communicator and empathetic with a strong focus on delivery.
Languages: Native-level/Fluent German is a must; very good English skills are a big plus for working closely with our team in London.
This is not a static position. You will be part of the founding core of OEV Germany . The structures and leadership roles of the future will grow directly out of this role. You will shape your own career path as we scale together.
