Senior Data Analyst (mfd)

About your tasks

• Lead the design and development of advanced data models in Tabular and / or Databricks to address company-wide analytical needs including models supporting financial forecasting cost control and profitability analysis.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of sophisticated Power BI Cloud dashboards that surface both operational and financial KPIs enabling real-time insight into business and financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance Controlling and Business Operations to align analytics with strategic and financial objectives.
• Conduct in-depth financial and operational data analysis identifying trends tracking deviations and providing clear actionable recommendations to support leadership.
• Enhance decision-making processes across the organization by transforming complex data into compelling narratives tailored to financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist or Analytics Consultant ideally with direct exposure to finance controlling or FP&A environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Cloud with a strong understanding of financial data modeling and semantic layer optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks SQL and Python with proven capability in handling large datasets for financial analysis and reporting.
