Overview

Senior Data Analyst – Product Analytics & Experimentation (f/m/d) in Data Division at Thomann.io. The Data Team focuses on expanding a cloud-based data warehouse to create value across website, app, marketing, purchasing and logistics. You will lead the experimentation program, establish lean processes, and revise tooling. This role can be based in Berlin or remote within Germany.

Responsibilities

Collection, analysis, interpretation and visualization of data from digital products (website/app) and marketing channels (CRM, ads, SEO, etc.).
Ownership of tooling landscape (GA4, GTM, A/B testing) and processes (requirements gathering, tracking QA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement measurement strategies and KPI frameworks around shop features and initiatives.
Hold workshops on product analytics with product teams to increase literacy and enable independent use of tools for basic analyses.
Balance a reactive service mode with proactive explorations and promotion of insights and recommendations.

What you should bring to the table

At least 5 years of experience in product analytics and associated tools, ideally event-based solutions like Google Analytics 4 and A/B testing tooling for web and app.
Experience running hypothesis-driven experiments at scale and ability to identify biased tests.
Ability to establish processes and cross-functional alignment for experimentation and standards around analysis.
Familiarity with raw data structures and strong SQL skills.
Familiarity with digital data collection in marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook, TikTok) is a plus.
Understanding of frontend vs backend tracking and client vs server-side implementations.
