We are hiring for a (Senior) Data Engineer (f/m/d) to work in our Development team.

Tasks

• Design, develop and maintain a data platform for processing of charging network operations data in a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate with data scientist on solutions for enabling AI-based data-processing solutions.
• Work closely with sales, operations and engineering to expand on existing integrations with other services in eMobility operations.
• Work independently as a team member on work packages and tasks in an agile collaboration.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, estimate and prepare your topics and present your work results and progress in reviews.
• Continuously improve existing features and integrations to ensure scalability, maintainability and security of our data infrastructure. This involves guaranteeing data quality and production stability through proactive monitoring.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by assisting and mentoring other team members on data solutions, actively involving them in the decision process, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to continuous learning and engagement with new technologies.
• Degree in computer science, informatics or a comparable subject or proven track record in software engineering for data-driven solutions.
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience with (cloud-based) data services and platforms (Elasticsearch, Kafka, MQTT, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• An independent, analytical and pragmatic way of working, without losing sight of the big picture.
• You understand the importance of collaboration, and you love to involve users and other team members to test and come up with good, validated solutions.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience in development of eMobility solutions (e.g. OCPP, EV-chargers, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent German and English skills
