Senior Designer (Concept) m/f/d

onformative is seeking a Senior Designer to shape the next chapter of our studio.

We're looking for a visionary individual with a keen awareness of emerging creative and technological trends who can translate these signals into future-facing concepts and new aesthetics across a variety of applications—from public art installations to next-generation user experiences to brand identity systems. While end deliverables vary, the strategic thinking and artistic direction through applied technology remains constant.

What You'll Do

You will articulate concepts with technical depth, narrative simplicity, and exceptional look and feel. You'll communicate your proposal using whatever tools necessary, from mood boards and AI image/video generation to vibe-coded prototypes. You'll present ideas to clients with confidence and likewise lead the team with your conceptual and creative vision during R&D and production.

You bring attention to detail while maintaining an open mind, embracing iteration and letting go of good ideas in service of great ones. You work collaboratively with clients within explorative frameworks rather than chasing pre-defined outcomes, discovering unexpected solutions together.

As part of our small core team, you'll work directly with the Founder and Creative Director, contributing to the studio's creative direction from day one. You'll also collaborate with Production to scope projects, coordinating team resources and schedules.

What You Bring

Core design expertise in one discipline (graphic, motion, experiential, spatial, interaction, or branding), with a cross-disciplinary mindset
5+ years of professional design experience working with emergent visual technologies and applying them to storytelling across digital and physical experiences
Agency or studio experience articulating persuasive concepts with strategic thinking
Understanding of generative design principles, procedural processes, creative technology, and real-time applications
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Suite, Figma, Miro, Google Slides) and general understanding of 2D/ 3D motion software (After Effects, C4D, Houdini, Touchdesigner)
Curiosity to experiment with the ever-changing landscape of new AI tools & workflows
Passionate, reliable, and humble in your approach to work and collaboration
A hands‑on approach to design—you're a maker by education, training, and heart
Fluency in English; German is a plus

What We Offer

Salary range: €55,000–70,000 (depending on experience)
