What You’ll Build

• Design, build, and operate highly available cloud services that support SAP’s Business AI features.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of deliverables, driving tangible outcomes while mentoring and developing less‑experienced engineers.
• Build a scalable and fault‑tolerant infrastructure for running AI workloads with modern technologies.
• Develop robust automation and monitoring to support continuous delivery across multiple cloud providers.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate new technologies and services that keep our platform cutting‑edge.

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4‑8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in a modern language such as Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java (Go and Python preferred).
• Proven expertise in distributed systems and cloud‑native principles to build robust, scalable software.
• Hands‑on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with agile software development processes.
• A passion for tackling complex problems and a drive to learn new things.
• Fluent English—written and spoken—with excellent communication skills.

Beneficial

• Experience with cloud‑native tools such as Gardener, Istio, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Proficiency with observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with generative AI and related serving/inference frameworks.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI).

Our team develops the Generative AI Hub within SAP Business AI. You’ll collaborate with skilled engineers across Germany, India, and Singapore, contributing to the broader AI ecosystem while tackling real‑world problems at the intersection of AI, cloud, and DevOps.
