What You Will Do

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Berlin. You will report to the Head of Infrastructure and act as the main DevOps contact for our AI and Data teams, helping to design, maintain, and improve our infrastructure. Your work will directly support the development winnings in implementing our AI product strategy, while playing a key role in maturing and securing our internal data software stack.

This is a hands‑on role where you will design, standardize, and improve infrastructure, ensuringAGN security, scalability and reliability across hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, and on‑premises).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain,šno and improve infrastructure to support development and data teams.
• Design secure, scalable, and reliable systems with a “security by design” mindset.
• Standardize and advance our DevOps stack, introducing best practices and automation.

• Build and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and modern CI/CD pipelines (Gitea Actions, Jenkins)
• Deploy and maintain containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Establish monitoring and logging solutions to ensure visibility, reliability, and performance.
• Share responsibility for on‑call and incident response within the senior engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with AI, Data, and Development teams, while aligning with the Head of Infrastructure.

You will be great for this position if you have

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Gitea Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience in hybrid environmentsLW (cloud & on‑prem), ideally with Azure and GCP.
• A mindset of security by design and familiarity with modern security practices.
• Ability to improve and standardize existing DevOps environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams.
• Fluent English (mandatory); German is a strong plus.
• Curiosity, hands‑on mentality, and a drive to stay up‑to‑date with evolving technologies.
• Experience in small or fast‑paced environments is a plus.

This role is based in Berlin and requires in‑office presence 4‑5 days a week.
