Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/x)

We are looking for a skilledSenior DevOps Engineer (m/f/x)to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing our deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure and operations, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and enjoys problem-solving in a collaborative environment.

As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/x), you will work closely with software developers, to implement and manage infrastructure that supports our rapid development cycles. You’ll be instrumental in our efforts to increase deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and enhance the stability of our applications.

• Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery from code to production, ensuring reliable and efficient deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible. Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with Development teams: Work closely with software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of new features and changes into production.
• Monitor and Optimize System Performance:Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively manage the health and performance of production systems.
• Cloud Management: Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency. Azure experience is a plus.
• Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes to ensure consistency across environments.
• Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to production issues, troubleshoot, and identify root causes to prevent future occurrences. Implement automated solutions to reduce manual intervention.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and deployments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your profile

• Proven Experience: 5+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, configuration management tools, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (preferably Azure) and experience with managing cloud infrastructure.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go, and a demonstrated ability to automate workflows and infrastructure tasks. PowerShell experience is a plus.
• Security Awareness: Understanding of security principles and best practices, especially in cloud environments.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and root cause analysis.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
