(Senior) DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) – Linux

Your role

As a (Senior) DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d), you will help operate and continuously improve our on-premises infrastructure and core platform services. You ensure reliability, security, and performance while working closely with Product teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Operating and maintaining our on-premises data centre infrastructure
• Administering and securing Linux systems and core services
• Supporting high-availability, monitoring, and alerting setups
• Operating storage, networking, and mail services
• Keeping systems up to date, secure, and compliant
• Collaborating with internal teams and documenting systems and processes

What you bring along

• Several years of experience in system, network, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL / Oracle Linux preferred)
• Solid understanding of networking, high availability, and system operations
• Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code tools
• A security-aware mindset and strong troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
• English proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, container networking, or service meshes
• Knowledge of Ceph or other distributed storage systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, virtualization platforms, or database clusters
• Experience with monitoring, observability, or secret management tools
• Relevant certifications or German language skills
