Senior Engineer Device Development (f/m/div)

As a Senior Engineer Device Development on our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing electrical test structure data with respect to technology targets:
  • Create & Debug Test Programs for mainly automatic but also manual test setups
  • Validate test results with expected behavior
• Further Develop & Maintain Data Analysis Software
• Use KI Tools for developing software & analysis data
• Design and simulate MOSFET and Bipolar semiconductor transistors for optimization of existing automotive smart power technologies, with strong focus on computer simulation of the semiconductor processes themselves and their effect on electrical and thermal transistor parameters (“TCAD”, e.g. Synopsis).
• Be the interface to other functions such as process integration, layout-, test-, reliability- and product- development departments

Qualifications And Skills

• An University Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent
• Interest to work in a multi-functional project team
• Experience in semiconductor transistor simulation (TCAD) and skills in scripting / programming
• Practice in systematic problem solving techniques
• Experience in automotive applications is desired but not a must
• Excellent English language skills, fluency in German is an advantage
