Discover your exciting role

You will work as part of a project team on the planning of pharmaceutical process plants and laboratory areas where you will be involved in many different phases of the project, from early design to handover.

We are looking for an Engineer Laboratory Design and Planning (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date at one of our locations: Hamburg, Leverkusen, Bad Homburg, Stuttgart, Ulm, Nuremberg or Munich.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Planning of pharmaceutical process plants and laboratory areas in all project phases (CD, BD, DD, commissioning) including qualification
• Support and consulting of customers within the scope of the projects
• Preparation of specifications for plant engineering (including qualification documents, equipment lists, schematics and plans)
• Preparation of layouts in compliance with current GMP regulations
• Request for proposal and supplier evaluation/selection
• Project and system coordination for the trades construction/architecture, clean room and ventilation technology, media technology and electrical engineering
• Collaborate with QA/QC engineers to ensure technical specification requirements are met

Show your expertise

• Completed studies in process engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, supply engineering or comparable field of study
• Ideally 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in planning and / or construction of laboratory facilities
• Experience in planning and execution of life science projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical, nutrition, biopharmaceutical or medical device industry
• Communication and teamwork skills, initiative and assertiveness as well as a high degree of flexibility
• Customer-oriented and independent working style
• Mobility and readiness for project-related on-site assignments
• Good command of written and spoken English
