Responsibilities

End‑to‑End Responsibility: Autonomous work in transmission technology across Engineering, Planning, Deployment and Operations.
Network Planning: From HLD & LLD to detailed system specifications for modernising networks and structures.
Technical Excellence: Planning, monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting on various transmission systems, with specialization opportunities.
Customer & Project Management: Coordinating requests, escalations and working closely with team members and stakeholders.
Project Documentation: Structured, traceable documentation of your work steps.
Innovation: Developing tailor‑made solutions that set new technical standards.

Qualifications

Completed studies in computer science, telecom engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or a similar field.
Hands‑on experience with various transmission technologies such as WDM, SDH, Ethernet, next‑generation ASON.
Basic knowledge of management systems in transmission technology.
Professional experience in the transmission technology area or related telecom technologies (fiber optics, FTTH, FTTB, IP).
Experience with IP, including IPv6, is an advantage.
Good spoken and written German and English skills and willingness to travel across Germany.
