YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You lead, mentor, and grow Engineering Managers and Senior Engineers, building high‑performing teams with a strong culture of ownership and technical excellence.
• You define and drive the technical direction and engineering strategy for our shared platforms and internal services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long‑term architectural health.
• You remain technically hands‑on where it matters—guiding architectural decisions, reviewing designs and code, and ensuring engineering best practices across teams.
• You collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering leadership to align priorities, drive platform innovation, and support fast and efficient product delivery.
• You establish strong engineering processes and standards, ensuring consistency in SDLC, operational readiness, and developer experience across all platform teams.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Leadership You bring extensive engineering experience with a proven track record of leading multi‑team organizations as an Engineering Manager of managers.
• Expertise You have deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud‑native architectures, Java‑based platforms, and modern frontend technologies.
• Full‑stack You understand end‑to‑end platform engineering, from backend services to frontend frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
• Coaching You excel at coaching Engineering Managers and Senior Engineers, fostering innovation, clarity, and long‑term growth.
• Communication You communicate with clarity, influence, and confidence across engineering and business, aligning shared service strategy with product goals and operational needs at scale.
