(Senior) M3 Technical Consultant (m/f/d)

Job location: Germany, Austria - home or office based

The Infor Consulting Services Organization is looking for outstanding Technical Consultant (m/f/d) to work with Infor M3 clients across the DACH region. The Technical Consultant can understand customer business drivers and current IT environment, ensures solution feasibility, and proposes a roadmap to realize the solution. The consultant operates across multiple solution domains using a broad knowledge of the Infor solution portfolio to identify components required to construct the most appropriate solution for the customer. Experience in one or more industry segments such as Retail, Distribution, Industrial Manufacturing, Food and Beverage or Enterprise Asset Management is preferred. An intense, ongoing training program is provided by Infor Services to support career development.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Acts as an expert and evangelist in Infor Applications and Technology
Provide technical consultative guidance and assistance directly to users in a professional and organized manner, using detailed technical knowledge in accordance with Infor’s implementation methodology
Decompose large complex problems into manageable pieces to communicate at both business and technical levels
Present to C-level audiences, focusing on business value of solutions rather than technical detail
Apply knowledge of Infor architecture engagement processes and tools
Understand standards for business processes, information models, and architectural models applied in relevant industries
Maintain awareness of IT industry architecture frameworks and approaches
Stay up to date with business drivers and typical customer needs within an industry
Design, develop, document, and deliver solution architectures that meet client needs
Build and maintain effective relationships with customers throughout the sales lifecycle
Ensure that design/development standards are upheld

What You Will Need

Implementation experience across Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement; or Manufacturing and Planning; or Customer Sales, Management; or Service and Rental
Experience with Oracle or SQL Database Server and languages
Integration skills: EDI, Bank Standards, XML, Web Services, Workflow and Alerts
Experience with web-based technologies and networking concepts
Experience with XML-based messaging integration technologies
Strong customer-facing consulting experience
Reliability and deadline-driven approach
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication that articulates complex ideas
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated
Team player with strong peer and interpersonal relationship-building skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluent in German; English language proficiency is mandatory
Willingness to travel
