Overview

Senior Expert Trade Compliance Governance role at Merck Group.

Responsibilities

Support and lead GTS stream for SAP rollouts and guide local Key Users across multiple project teams.
Serve as the focal point of contact for trade compliance in SAP rollout programs.
Manage the implementation of new or changed processes with global impact or strategic importance; design and develop new IT solutions and processes.
Deliver solutions to business-critical, lower/medium complex issues in SAP/GTS; perform business impact analysis for major IT changes.
Create training documents for key users and process descriptions for global processes; support local training document creation.
Participate in and represent the GTS business stream in all project meetings.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Life Science or Business Administration from a reputed university.
6+ years of experience in at least one trade compliance function.
Advisor knowledge of trade compliance processes and working experience in GTS.
Experience as a Local Key User in the GTS stream.
Very good communication skills and experience working with global teams.
Good knowledge of project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to investigate errors and provide suggestions to IT teams to resolve them.
Open to travel as needed per project requirements.
